Custom weddings

Pastor Heidi Fish has conducted over 150 weddings, customizing each one  to the particular values, beliefs, and personalities of the couple.  Pastor Heidi takes time to get to know you, and will help you create a unique and very personal ceremony.  She has written extensively for weddings, and would enjoy translating your dreams into meaningful experiences and beautiful words.

Religious, interfaith or secular ceremony

Pastor Heidi is an ordained Lutheran minister with 20 years of experience in the Pacific Northwest.

She has conducted many ceremonies for people who  want little to no religious language in their wedding, couples desiring a creative blending of their differing religious traditions, and for those who want a strong proclamation of their faith as an integral part of the celebration.  You will appreciate her openness and non-judgmental attitude.

How it works

•   If  you are interested in talking with me about your ceremony, e-mail me to arrange an initial, free consultation to see if we’re a good fit! 

•    We’ll schedule 2-3 sessions of counseling, using the PREPARE pre-marital inventory. These sessions can be scheduled (and located) for your convenience.

•    It will take 1-2 sessions to design your wedding, depending on your needs.

•   I’ll conduct the rehearsal before the wedding.  For a Saturday wedding, I recommend a Thursday rehearsal, if at all possible, but the evening before also is fine.

•   I’ll arrive an hour before the ceremony is to begin, to make sure everything is ready.

• The wedding will be wonderful!

• I file the marriage license with the proper authorities.

Costs

We'll discuss the pricing structure during the free consultation, as I use a sliding scale.  A  $100 deposit may be requested. If the ceremony is to take place outside the Puget Sound area, travel and expenses should be reimbursed.  Payment plans can be arranged, but full payment is expected before I file the license!
