My name is Alan Kornacki, Jr.  I am graduate of Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary in St. Catharines, Ontario (class of 2000), and I am on the clergy roster of the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod.  I have served congregations in North Dakota and Ohio.  Currently I am between congregations, so I preach as needed in a number of congregations throughout the Southern District while I tackle my day job as manager of the Amelia Community Center in southeastern Louisiana.  It is my heart's desire to return to full-time parish ministry, though I am not too proud to be a worker priest.  My greatest joy as a pastor is administering God's gifts to His people--drowning sinners to raise them to newness of life in Holy Baptism, delivering to them the Lord's absolution, and feeding them with Christ's holy body and Blood in the Lord's Supper. 

I am the husband of one beautiful wife, the son of two parents, and the father of three adorable children.  I am also the godfather of two of Christ's sheep.
