The Lenz turbine is a type of VAWT designed by Ed Lenz. See here for the full details. There's no generator yet, as I am converting an small induction motor to permanent magnet, this will be covered later. The
turbine is 40 cm diameter and the blades are 35cm tall.

This is my Lenz2 turbine. It's made from recycled materials.

This shows how the blades are constructed. They are 35cm high.
The dowel in the centre is 16mm diameter, and the plywood is 12mm thick.

The bearing is an old bicycle hub clamped in a piece of 2x6. There is a piece
of mild steel to try and spread the load
