About Me

I am an Associate Principal at Clairemont High School in the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD).

Prior to my current educational role, I was the Project-Based Learning Resource Teacher in SDUSD. I organized and led a variety of different professional learning experiences focused on interdisciplinary PBL and design thinking, and hands-on minds-on learning. Before my positions in SDUSD, I was a Digital Learning Coach in the Grossmont Union High School District (GUHSD) for three years. As a DLC, I collaborated with teachers as they thoughtfully integrate technology into their curriculum. Before moving into teacher leadership positions, I taught Social Sciences and Technology at West Hills High School for 18 years. I was selected GUHSD Teacher of the Year in 2010.

I earned  a Preliminary Administrative Credential through the San Diego County Office of Education and an MA in Curriculum Development and Educational Technology at National University.

As an educational leader, I have led 500+ workshops and presentations focusing on the integration of technology, project-based learning, design thinking, and more at the district, county, state, and national level.
