Founded in 1980, non-profit, non-partisan, and non-sectarian, RESULTS/RESULTS Educational Fund pursues lasting solutions to hunger and poverty worldwide. Of the more than 100 RESULTS chapters at work in America, six are in Texas: Houston, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Waco, and Rockwall.

RESULTS Educational Fund, through its Microcredit Summit Campaign, has played a major role in insuring that the poor have access to loans. In 1997 the Campaign brought together Dr. Yunus and 2900 other microcredit representatives from 137 countries and set a goal of reaching 100 million of the world’s poorest families with self-employment loans by 2005. The goal was met, and the Campaign continues its initiatives so that millions of poor families have the means of working their way out of poverty. Please join us for dinner on May 14 to hear from Dr. Yunus about the miracle of microcredit and how ordinary citizens are being empowered to become champions for the end of poverty.

At the event, you will have an opportunity to give a special anniversary contribution that is meaningful to you, and that will help us to reach our goal of $70,000. If you cannot attend, your donation is still welcome and will be leveraged to expand access to health care, education, and economic opportunity to the poorest people in the United States and around the world.
