Welcome to the first issue of the Fantasy Times, an occasional on-line journal.

Opinions expressed in the Fantasy Times are those of the author and the editor, and do not represent the opinions of any political party, interest group or commercial enterprise. The editor does however,  freely confess she is a left wing libertarian.

Material in the Fantasy Times may be copied for personal use, research, training and educational purposes. The author retains the moral right to be recognised as the creator of this publication. Material in the Fantasy Times may not be used for commercial gain without the permission of the editor.

The initial suggestion for the method of writing the Fantasy Times came from my erstwhile astrologer, to whom I say, “Thank you.” Peter “The Bear” Thoeming provided an example of how it could be done with “Motorcycling in Australia”. Guy Noble’s “Word of the Day” on ABC Classic FM’s Breakfast provided the initial inspiration for some of the subject matter: and it all grew from there. Thanks also to Paul Martin, who provided the idea for another section.
