The 501 group
Covered No's 501 - 520
These were Fishing Vessels mostly of japanese origin seized in Canada 1941 and Purchased by the Royal Navy in 1942. They were for use in the Far East and given MFV Numbers in september 1942
The 2000 group
Covered No's 2013 - 2047
This Group was made up of 3 navy Built vessels and requisitioned boats, many were ex French Auxilary Naval Vessels that had been seized in the UK 1940. The MFV numbers were issued after November 1942.
