'The
Cozy Kahuna' is a Cute and Cozy Cottage on the Majestic Oregon Coast
with a 6 person outdoor Jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi is always on, 24/7, and
ready to go upon your arrival. Our cute and cozy cottage is located
just four miles south of Cannon Beach. You will find miles of uncrowded
sandy beaches and spectacular coastal scenery in this gorgeous setting
of Arch Cape. The cottage sits up on a small knoll on the back portion
of an oceanfront lot. We have remodeled the cottage so you will find it
charming, clean and refreshing. We have also added skylights for more
natural light. You can enjoy views of the ocean and castle rock from
the living room, kitchen, loft and deck. The cottage sits behind our
main oceanfront house about fifty feet. The views from the cottage are
between the neighbor's oceanfront house and our oceanfront house. Easy
beach access is located just three houses south, less than a minute
walk. The beach about 10-12 miles long at low tide. The cottage is
fully furnished.

Review Submitted: March 6, 2010 Date of Stay: March 2010 Greg, We just returned home & are ready to go back!! As before, the house was great! Clean & everything available to fit all our needs and wants!! Thanks so much for having the hot tub ready to go, we sat & watched the stars & listened to the waves crash on the shore couldn't have been more relaxing. We are already looking at the calendar to book for next year. Guestbook CommentRating 5 out of 5 Submitted by: B. Maki Portland, OR Review Submitted: January 27, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009 This place is absolutely wonderful, cozy, beach access, relaxing, and by far the best place you can stay. I will forever come back here and stay when visiting the northern oregon coast. There is nothing bad to say about this place. Thank you for inviting us into your beautiful rental.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Kahuna. Very clean and
comfortable, and a great value for the price! Several times during our
stay we had the entire beach to ourselves.

That was the most relaxing vacation we have had! The weather was not
perfect, but the house is cozy, just like the desription and the rain
actually encouraged us to be lazy and relax, which is not something we
get to do often enough. The house is a short walk to the beach and the
beach is beautiful and clean, with hardly no people perfect for a walk
and late night campfire. Shopping is just a short ride away in Cannon
beach, and if you have never been there then its a must. We enoyed this
vacation very much and would recomend this rental.

Hi Greg, We had a great time at the cottage! Looking forward to renting
from you in the near future. Attached are some photos of us enjoying
the local beach. We loved how quiet the neighborhood and arch cape
beach was, when Cannon Beach was overflowing with people.
The Big Kahuna and The Cozy KahunaThe Big Kahuna and The Cozy Kahuna Driving Directions to Arch Cape
From
I-5 North/Seattle (210 miles/3.5 hours), take the Longview Industrial
exit #36. Once off I-5, there is a road veering off to the right into
the Industrial Area. Do not take it. Stay on the main road and cross
the overpass and go several miles to a set of lights. Take a left at
the second light, following the signs to Oregon. You are about 70 miles
from Cannon Beach at this point. Cross the mighty Columbia River on the
big bridge and head west (right) on Highway 30 for 45 miles to Astoria.
Highway 30 becomes Highway 101 at Astoria. Follow Highway 101 south
through Astoria and through Seaside. Go approx. 11 miles past the Hwy.
26 on-ramp (DO NOT GET ON HWY 26) past Cannon Beach to Arch Cape (if
you went through the tunnel, you went 1/4 mile too far). Make a right
on West Ocean which is the street just before the Arch Cape General Store. Go to the end of the street and make a right on Pacific Rd. We
are the fourth house on the left. 80036 Pacific Rd.
From
I-5 South/Salem, take exit #292 - Highway 217 - toward Beaverton 7
miles to Highway 26 - Sunset Highway. Go west on Highway 26 toward
"Ocean Beaches" for 72 miles to Highway 101 at the coast. Go 11 miles
south on Highway 101 to Arch Cape (if you went through the tunnel, you
went 1/4 mile too far). Make a right on West Ocean Ave. which is the street
just before the Arch Cape General Store. Go to the end of the street
and make a right on Pacific Rd. We are the fourth house on the left. 80036 Pacific Rd
