Personal Info

My name is Renato Miceli Costa Ribeiro and I am 22 years old. I am a Computational Scientist at Ireland's supercomputing centre and a PhD student at Université de Rennes 1, France. I got my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (hons) at Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, Brazil. There I got involved in research and development activities at the Distributed Systems Laboratory, focusing on the OurGrid Project. My research interests have further involved from distributed systems into parallel systems, GPU computing and compiler optimisation, deeply influenced by my role at the Irish Centre for High-End Computing, where I support the Irish research community and provide consultancy services and technology transfer for the industry in High-Performance Computing and General-Purpose GPU Computing. I am a "Certified Tester, Foundation Level" by the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB), a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner by APMG-International, and an ACM Professional Member.
