Short Biography

Renato Fernandes Corrêa received the B.S. degree in Computer Science in 2000 from Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil. He received the M.S. degree in Computer Science in 2002 from Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. From 2002 to 2007, he was a Visiting Professor at Polytechnic School at Pernambuco University, Brazil. He received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in 2008 from Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. Currently, he is Professor of the Information Science Departament at Federal University of Pernambuco.

His research interests include neural networks, text mining, data mining,  and information retrieval systems.
