Airports The city Göttingen does not have an international airport. The nearest international airports are in Hanover (120 km), Frankfurt / Main (230 km), and Berlin (330 km).
Trains Trains run very often and it is possible to purchase discount tickets if you plan early. Please check for schedules and times at the German Railway Company’s official information site: http://www.bahn.de/i/view/USA/en/index.shtml. It is possible, though not necessary, to book tickets online in advance. Tickets can also be purchased at the train stations. Please see attachment for travel information and additional hotel recommendations.
Conference Venue The venue for the "Remake | Remodel" Conference will be the conference room in the historical building of the University Library. The building is situated in the heart of Göttingen, only about five minutes from the train stations and the nearby hotels we recommend for our participants.
