Answers to Common Questions  Where is the Reiki Thailand clinic? We’re on Udom Suk Road, three kilometers from the Udom Suk BTS station. You can take a motorcyle (15 baht), red share taxi (5 to 7 baht) or taxi (40 baht) from the BTS station. It takes 5 to 10 minutes. I’ll give specific directions from your place when we arrange an appointment. Click here to see local map. Do I need an appointment for a healing? Yes, please call to arrange a convenient time. Healings are available 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. most days. Do you teach Reiki levels 2 and 3? Yes, follow these links for details and course curriculums. Do you have Reiki exchanges in Bangkok? Those who already know Reiki are invited to join our level 1 courses to exchange Reiki. We arrange Reiki exchanges as the opportunity arises, which is quite regularly.  Is it necessary to be vegetarian to study Reiki? I recommend being vegetarian, but it’s not a requirement to study Reiki. It is important that you maintain good nutritional standards to keep yourself healthy and strong on the physical level. Reiki Vegetarians How much does a healing cost? A Reiki healings costs 600 baht (less than US$20) for a 60 to 90 minute session. How much does the Reiki 1 course cost? |  Welcome to Reiki Thailand! We offer very supportive and friendly Reiki courses in a warm, personal environment. Reiki is a friendship between teachers and students more than just a business. We don’t have any fancy marketing schemes or any high-tech promotional campaigns, just this simple website with photos of our clinic, home and friends from recent courses. We also provide Reiki healings for those facing emotional, mental or physical difficulties in life. We’re sure you’ll feel very comfortable studying Reiki with us, enjoy a vegetarian meal and fruit snacks while sipping your favourite tea. We’ll listen to some gentle music by Mozart or Bach, light some Asian or South American incense and share our Reiki experience with you. We’re also available for Naturopathy consultation and courses upon request. We used to teach Reiki in two full days, but experience has shown that spreading the course over four half-days is much more effective. We allow at least one day off in between days of study so you have time to practice on your own and absorb the energy into your life. You can study during the week or on weekends depending on your schedule. We will guide you as you gain experience and confidence using Reiki. We follow up your training as long as needed with visits, phone calls, e-mails and Reiki meetings to assure your well-being and long term development. Our course schedule is arranged to meet your needs. We offer courses on weekdays, weekends, consecutive Saturdays or whatever suits your schedule. Visit this page for more details:Reiki One How long does the level one course take? Most Reiki masters teach level one in two days. I much prefer to spread Reiki 1 over several half-day sessions. It's more effective and thorough to meet on four occasions a few hours each time, rather than just meeting for one intensive weekend. Some people just want to hurry up, study, get their certificates and fly back home; that may work in some cases, but I strongly support a slower learning process of gradual assimilation of energy and experience. Do you give Reiki certificates after the class? Are the manuals included in the course?  What time does the class begin? We begin at 10:00 a.m. and finish practice at 1:00 p.m. We provide home-cooked vegetarian meals at 1:00 p.m. until everybody is full. Sharing lunch also gives us more informal time to discuss Reiki and healing in general. Can we meet the teacher before the class begins? I often meet interested students for lunch or tea to discuss the details in person and assure that we are well suited. We can meet at our clinic or somewhere convenient in the city, say, somewhere near the BTS Skytrain line. I can suggest several good places to get vegetarian lunch. It is also recommended that you receive one or two healings before your level 1 training begins. This helps clear any issues you may have in your heart, as well as giving you experience with the energy.
