What is the LHS Bass Fishing Team?
Illinois is the first state in the nation to make tournament bass fishing a sanctioned sport on the high school level. Already very popular on the collegiate level, dozens of high schools across the state have elected to participate in this sport, including Libertyville High School. Tournaments are run on local, sectional and state levels and are regulated by the Illinois High School Association. This is a huge step forward in attracting the youth of today in to the sport of angling.
