SCOOP - the Standing Committee on Official Publications - is an important aspect of ISG's work, and SCOOP news is an integral and valued part of Refer.

Helen Creeke, Official Publications Manager, The National Archives (TNA) has provided a short paper (attached) on the advice that TNA give to Government Departments about what constitutes a Command Paper

Summer 2011: Jennie Grimshaw - Curator, Official Publications Collections, British Library - has written a report for SCOOP on Parliamentary Publishing: Move from Print to Electronic (attached below). SCOOP is grateful to Catherine Fogarty, Deliverer of the Vote, for permission to publish the paper on this website.

May 2010: SCOOP has a new Chair, Andrew Coburn of Essex Libraries. His profile is attached.
 
Alastair Allan, past Chair of SCOOP, has given permission for the background papers to SCOOP meetings to be made available on Referplus to support the SCOOP news column. These papers will be arranged by the date of the SCOOP Meeting for which they were prepared, and will be referenced from the relevant SCOOP news.
