Suface Component Soldering

What you need:
    1.Soldering Iron/solder
    2.Component to be Soldered (led,pic,capacitor, switch,etc)
    3.Perf Board or board being soldered to

1.First you need to place your component in the perf board where it is needed. (Below is a 555timer.)

2.Turn over the board holding the component in the holes with the table or a finger.

3.With a screwdriver or a finger bend the pins in an outward position from the center of the component,keeping it in place while you solder a wire or contact to it.

4.Your ready to solder it to a contact or a wire.

The same techniques shown above can be used on almost any surface mount electronic for easier and more professional looking soldering. :)
