What you need: 1.Led (0603,0805,1206) 2.Soldering iron/solder 3.Rosin flux 4.Needle nose pliers 5.30awg wire 6.Patience 1.First you need to strip your wires and put your led face down to see the green arrow on the underside.  2.Now lightly dip your wire(silver part only) into the flux and add a little solder to it as best you can.  3.Make sure your soldering iron has a dot of solder.  4.Hold the wire on the contact on the led and lightly tap the wire with the iron and it should immediately stick(here's where the patience is needed :) )  5.It should now be soldered on pretty good if not try step 4 again. Once finished it should look something like this.  6.Now if you have a helping hand clamp it in, if not you can tape it to the table.Use the same technique for adding the second wire(steps 2-4).  7.It should now look something like this.  8.To make sure the wires don't break your going to need to twist the wires.  |
