What is yoga?

  • Great question! The yoga we practice consists of stretching, breathing exercises, meditation, and some muscle-toning. Typically, no sweat is involved. If you have new ideas, we would love to hear them.
I have never done yoga. Will I be able to follow the routine?
  • Yes. We adjust the routine to each person's level. You don't need any experience. That is why we are here--to introduce you to yoga!

I can't even reach my toes! Should I come? 

  • Of course! We do many exercises, some of which you need not be flexible to do.
Do I need to bring my own mat? 
  • You may, but we have plenty of mats available.
What should I wear?
  • Wear normal clothes that you can stretch in. Even stretch jeans will work. 
I can't come on some days. Should I still join the club?
  • Yes! You don't need to be a constant attendant. Come to any session that you can come to.
I don't arrive until 7:15. Can I still come?
  • Drop in and enjoy as much yoga as you can.
