Welcome to our home page.

We live in a violent world.  So often the solution to this violence
is to put some one in prison and forget the victim who is the
recipient of the violence.

Could there be a better way of creating Justice in our world?

We believe there is.

  • Many victims do not find healing.
  • Prisons keep filling up.
  • Many of those trapped in the criminal life
return to jails.

When will a way for healing to begin?

We are seeking to find better ways.

"The Myth of Redemptive Violence:

Society's preferred response to violence is vengeance.  We call this the "myth of redemptive violence" -

In this process, we seek to live out the belief that violence is a necessary and appropriate response, and even healing for the victim, especially when administered by the state on a victim's behalf. We believe that the idea of punishment is not enough.

Certainly violent punishment continues to fail all around us.

  • We seek to reject violence as a constructive way of responding to a wrong or injustice.
  • We believe that there are alternatives to violence.
  • We seek to restore wholeness to victims of crime.
  • We seek to hold those who commit a crime accountable for their actions.
  • We seek to find ways of restoration for victims, offenders, and community

Restorative Justice Challenges the 'Myth of Redemptive Violence.
We seek alternatives to what is presently being applied as Justice in our world.
True justice moves beyond taking an "eye for an eye".
