Thursday nights there will be varsity team meals.  The  home game meals are hosted by a group of parents at a players home and open dates are 9/4, 9/18, 10/2, 10/16, 10/23. The away game meals are “pay your own” at local restaurants.   The first is 8/28 at MIF’s in GH at 6:00.  If you would like to host or help at a team meal please call Maxine at 367-9437 or sign up at the parent meeting. 

Varsity team meals are served at 2 pm every Friday before games. Meals include a sandwich, chips, dessert, fruit and a drink. Meals are paid by each player, not MTHS. We need donations of fruit and dessert. If you’d like to donate or help serve please call Janie at 369-4122.  As sophomores are invited to varsity, a letter  will be sent detailing meal costs. The cost for varsity fees is  $100.  Sophomores should pay $35 for 2 meals for RB and to ride the charter bus payable to Redbirds Football Parents by August 9th.   

Hell Week meals are provided the first three days, Wednesday, August 13—Friday, August 15.  Thanks to the      Taseff’s, all of the meals are served at Great Oaks Church in Germantown Hills at 10:30.  This is a great team camaraderie time and the coaches would appreciate if all varsity team players would come to the meal. It is highly suggested that the sophomores try to have a similar team meal. Help is needed for the meals. Call Laure at 367-9254 if you would like to donate or help prepare or serve.                

The annual parent meeting and auction is August 8th at 5 pm after fitness testing at the high school. Rotary will offer pork chops for sale for $4.00. Sophomore parents bring chips, Junior parents fruit and Senior parents a dessert to share. Table service provided by the Redbird Football Parents. There will be sign up sheets for meals, an opportunity to pay meal fees, bid on auction items and much more! Please call Janie, 369-4122 by 8/1 if planning on eating pork chops.

Interested in reserved cushioned seats on the 5O-yard line for Metamora High School's home football games? What about sitting in the press box during a game? Or having a field pass with a reservation to the pregame speech?

    Metamora Township High School football is raising funds for team meals and other expenses and is offering a silent auction to MTHS parents and the community. The auction will kick off at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at the high school commons area. Pork chop sandwiches (including a drink) will be sold for $4, along with a chance to meet and greet your 2Q08 Metamora Redbird varsity football team.

Final bidding will take place during Emphasis Night starting at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at the football field. Emphasis Night also offers a chance to meet all of Metamora's fall sport athletes along with watching scrimmage games for all of the football and soccer teams.
