Bike Blog: first cycling school

Recyke y'bike provides cycle training to increase confidence on two wheels. Read on to find information about our training sessions.  We can help if:

  • you want to learn to ride a bike, but don't know how to start
  • you know how to cycle but are wary of traffic
  • you would like you and your family to learn to ride safely and effectively
  • you would like to be accompanied and practice on a route to work/college etc
Our aim is to see more people cycling, more safely, more often.

We provide training to:

individuals, groups, families, women only groups, people with learning/physical difficulties/disabilities, whether you are an absolute beginner, a born again cyclist or enthusiastic pedaller.

We specialise in our 'learn to ride a bike' sessions for absolute beginners and provide taster, confidence building sessions (see who is training for?) as well as Bikeability training level 1, 2 and 3.

Since July 2008 we have trained over 100 people of all abilities to confidently travel on 2 wheels for health, sport, fun, fitness and commuting.

Please contact us by email or phone if you have queries, to book a session or to discuss your training needs.
