Adding Help to your Documents

Agreement Express makes it easy to add helpful hints and text to your documents. There are two types of help you can add in, help text, and hover text.

Help text is used when you have large amounts of information you need to convey, usually in paragraph form. To add a block of help text, drag the "add tool tip" icon from the form tool bar that appears when you are publishing a document to the place on the document where you would like to add help text. This will add a question mark surrounded in a circle to your document.

Click on the icon and add the text you wish to appear.  You can format the text in any way you wish, including using HTML tagging. You can also include hyper links to other documents.  Since this help does not appear in the printed or PDF copies of the documents it is critical that you do not include anything concerning the terms of the agreement in the help text.

If you have improperly placed the field or wish to remove it, click on the icon and hit the REMOVE button.

To add a short amount of text that appears when a person mouses over a field (for example: Enter Name) you can do this from the form OPTIONS. Click on the field you wish to add the text too, click on the wrench icon on either the form tool bar or in the bottom left corner of the field to expose the field OPTIONS. Check the Tool Tip box, and then type in the text you wish to appear.
