Agreement Express makes editing documents a snap. With Agreement Express' Form Editor you can add signatures, text fields, calendar fields, check boxes, radio buttons, tool tip fields and link fields anywhere in a document. When you upload a document to send
via Agreement Express, the document loads into publisher mode where you can add
any fields and/or signatures blocks from the Form toolbar. This can be done by clicking on Send An Agreement and selecting the document you would like to send as an agreement. This will load into publisher mode where you can access the Form Editor. ![]() 1) Standard
Signature ![]() Just drag and drop to add a field or signature block to the document. When you click on a dropped field you will see icons appear in each corner of the field. From left to right these icons are move, delete, additional field properties and re-size. When you click the wrench from either the corner of the field or from the form toolbar the field properties window opens. ![]() 1) Every field dropped is automatically given a field ID. This field is not editable. 2) By default the field name is similar to the field ID but can be changed. The field name will appear as a column header when you run certain reports. 3) The tab index controls the order of the fields the mouse cursor will move between. By default, the order is based on the sequence that you drop the fields on the document. Signature blocks are not included in the tab order. 4) The X, Y coordinates tell you exactly where on the document the field is located. 5) The width and height allow you to control the field size. 6) You set the maximum number of characters that can be entered into the field. 7) The 2 checkboxes and drop-down menu control the date field. The drop-down menu allows you to change the format of the date. 8) You can restrict who can modify the field based on a particular email address or a signing level. 9) Making the field secure will restrict who can view the data entered. This is required for any credit card information. 10) This will make the field required. By entering a field ID into the textbox beside, you make the field required only when the field ID’s field is filled in. For instance you can set a text field to be required only when a checkbox is checked. 11) The font of the text in the field can be changed. 12) You can also change the font size. 13) If you want to stop any signer from editing the data in the field, you can make it read-only. 14) You can set a field to automatically calculate a number based on other fields. 15) Enter an email address to notify the person every time information is entered. 16) You can create a small tooltip window that pops up when the field is selected for providing further instructions. 17) Mask field allows you to auto format the data based on the selections in the drop-down menu. 18) Allows you to enter information on more than one line in the field. 19) Lets you to align the data left, right or center in the field. |
