 Born and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin, Mrs. Recla graduated from Appleton High School West in 1993,
 where she was a regular in the Fine Arts and Graphic Arts Departments. She was also very active in Youth in Government (she went to Nationals in 1991), Yearbook, Debate, Forensics, Swimming, and Track & Field. After graduating high school Mrs. Recla attended the following schools:-University of Wisconsin Fox Valley (1993-94)
-University of Wisconsin Green Bay (1994-95)
-Barat College of De Paul University (1996-98), earned a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art & Art Therapy in 1998
 (Dean's List, "Who's Who in American Colleges & Schools," and Department Honors in Studio Art 1998)-Northern New Mexico College (2003-04), teaching credentials in Elementary and Secondary Education
-University of Phoenix (2004-06), earned a Master of Arts in Secondary Education in 2006.
-Various Master Degree level courses at Arizona State University, University of San Diego, and Chapman University.
Mrs. Recla has lived in the following cities: Appleton and Green Bay, Wisconsin; Lake Forest, Illinois; San Diego, California; Taos, New Mexico; and the Phoenix, Arizona area. Work experience in education includes: The Art Institute of Phoenix, New Mexico State University Cooperative Extension Service, and Penasco Independent School District. Work experience in the arts includes: Wisconsin Tissue Mills design and graphics department, and N.E.W Printing. Mrs. Recla has also been a part of several group art exhibits in the Chicago area.
Favorite Things:
Mrs. Recla loves spending time with her husband Dino, and their dogs Sadie and Lucy. Together they like to hike, travel, swim, and camp. Other interests include: collecting vinyl records of all kinds, photography, painting, seeing live music, skiing (downhill & x-country), cooking, spending time with family and friends, riding their vintage bicycles (1939 & 1942), riding & collecting skateboards, and taking motorcycle rides (we like things with wheels).
