Welcome to the project site for the new clubhouse for Bitton Recreation Ground, more commonly called "The Rec"

The Rec is situated in Bitton, a historic village at the foot of the Cotswolds, exactly halfway between Bristol and Bath

The Rec is has been held in trust for the inhabitants of Bitton since 1929 having been purchased by local landowners and cricket enthusiasts in 1896 for use by the local cricket team.

The Ground is administered by Bitton Recreation Ground Trust and operated and managed by Bitton AFC and Bitton Sports and Social Club.  Bitton AFC hold a long-term lease from the Trust.
