After a story book season where the Real Mandarin F.C achieved 7 victories, 1 tied and 1 loss with 35 gols scored and only 8 gols allowed finally made it to a historic play off season for the first time in their short existence where they just leveled all their opponents with a first round 7-1 win against the Navigators F.C followed by an outstanding performance against the PTC F.C win 3-2 on penalty kicks after regular time and overtime clash that ended on a 1-1 draw.

At the championship game they were meet by the powerful well prepared Amelia Islanders F.C in clash of futbol titans that resulted in a hot contested well play very physical effort from both teams which displayed great technical and physical abilities making this one of the most memorable championship games in recent years.

After a challenging first half with both teams in a fierce battle with a 0-0 score they resume the second half with the same intensity display thru out the first half, the Islanders took advantage of a couple of mishaps by the Real back line and score 2 goals in the first 5 minutes of play ,15 minutes before the end Real took charge of the game and in true show of character and “jogo bonito” mounted an impressive come back starting from a side kick by Sergio”el che”Rodriguez towards the goal and headed in by Ndoc”tony”pepa, the equalizer came from a well executed play started deep in our defense in a series of short passes by every member of the team until the Islanders defensive side was reached and a spectacular gol was score by Illiard”messi”abeshi 5 minutes before regulation time expired. The draw continued the rest of the game with both teams displaying excellent skills and control.

The ten minutes of overtime were filled with fantastic cautious execution on both parts that pave the way to a true championship outcome in the form of penalty kicks that were taken in the following order, Luis”Colombia”velasquez scored the first for Real, the Islanders countered with a score them selves, follow by ndoc’s”tony”pepa score on his turn, followed by an Islander miss and finally terminated by Illiar”messi”abeshi final score.

Congratulations to all the players and our gratitude to all our supporters.
