Welcome to the Reading Dragons!  We are the University of Reading's Ultimate Frisbee club.  If you're in Reading and fancy throwing some disc or would like to learn how, then either drop us an email, or even better come along and join a session.  Enjoy browsing around the rest of the site, and hopefully we'll be hucking to you sometime soon!

Training Times

Monday Evening @ Bulmershe (Indoor Beginners)- 6:00pm-8:00pm
This is for beginners, it will involve a few drills and game experience. Also we will be running a shuttle bus from the sports park car to bulmershe and back meeting at 5:30 and will return after the training session if needed.

Wednesday Evening @ Paddock (Outdoor) - 6:00pm-8:00pm
This is open to both beginner's and experienced players and will involve general drills and games, again everyone is welcome!

Please note that training will begin AT the start time shown: you need to be there, booted up, ready to go and have chucked a disc around for a bit before that time, so please arrive 10-15 minutes early.

Weekends
Most weekends we will be away at tournaments which will be open to anyone who wishes to play. At the start of term there is a beginners tournament in Southampton that all beginners are encouraged to go to. Tournaments are the best way to get experience of the sport.

For those new to the uni grounds, the "Paddock" is located here:

Membership Fee

Membership costs £15 and this includes entry to Skunks Beginners tournament in Southampton on the 23rd/24th October.

NB: SportsFed Membership is required for any Reading student wanting to take part in any sport at the uni, including if you just want to 'try it out'.  It is available at the union for £18.

Tournament
We hosted our very own tournament at the start of June 2010, check out the webpage for more details.
