Please Pray For... - Dawn's Health. Please believe with us for the manifestation of the miracle God did in her body while in Florida (Ongoing). - Our Marriage. This first year of marriage has been full of surprises and trails that we believe will bring us closer to the Father and each other (Ongoing). Tuesday May, 19th, 2009 Please pray for full manifestation of God's healing in Dawn. We are going to a healing conference May 26-June 2nd during which time we are believe for the remaining symptoms to dissipate. Please pray for the gift of administration as we try to meet with friends and family over the summer to update them about what God is doing through their giving. We are overseeing seven interns during the summer semester in Lawrence, which will restrict our ability to meet with everyone that we would like to meet with. Please pray with us for a the house we are trusting God for. We believe it would be a strategic post for student ministry in God's Kingdom because it capable of housing several students with us to disciple, hold weekly ministry meetings (30-40 people), our international bible study (30-80 people), discipleship meetings (one-to-one, small group), a coffee/pray mother-in-law apartment, and equipping classes. (KDI, Knowing God, Experiencing Christian Community). The house is within walking distance to the campus, in the middle of the Greek community. Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009Pray for these last three weeks on the campus. We believe that God is wanting to set the pace and atmosphere on the campus for the upcoming internship and Fall semester. Please pray for direction from the Holy Spirit in developing our internship program. Monday March 30th, 2009 Please pray for Dawn's doctors appointment on Thursday. We are hoping that everything has cleared up, that her nausea is decreasing, and that her appetite is increasing. Please pray for Austin that he will have divine appointments with young men that are leaders on campus. Monday, March 9th, 2009 Please pray for our upcoming Spring Break trip (March 13th-16th) where we are going to be equipping students to be ambassadors on the campus for the Kingdom of God. Specifically, please pray for the weather, clarity in the message God is wanting to bring the students, and for a good time. Please continue praying for divine health for Dawn, she staying in Lawrence during our weekend advance because of sickness. Please pray specifically for Andrew and Chen, who are two students from China Austin has been meeting with on a weekly basis to work through the foundations of Christianity. They are so close to accepting Jesus as their Lord. Wednesday, February, 18, 2009 Please pray for divine health for both Dawn and I because we are constantly interacting with sick students. Please pray for Straight Up Beautiful, which is a Junior high girls conference this weekend (Feb. 20-21). Dawn is sharing about beauty through God's eyes. Please pray for our International Bible Study this Friday night at 8p.m. Austin will be sharing about Salvation to students, many of whom come from nations closed to the gospel. Please be praying throughout the week for divine appointments with students God is calling to become part of his bride, as well as, for those we continue to meet with on a weekly basis. Friday, February 6th, 2009 Please pray for our international bible study on Friday nights. We hope that students there would open their hearts to receiving Jesus Christ. Please pray for divine health as we have been fighting the common-flu. Please pray for next weekend, Austin's family is having a wedding and we are trusting God to provide opportunities to bring reconciliation between his siblings and parents. Please pray for divine appointments while we are on the campus during this great weather. Thursday, January 22nd, 2009 Please pray for Dawn, the women of our local body, and students who are going away to Kansas City for the weekend to build their faith and advance the Kingdom. Dawn will have multiple opportunities to minister to young and mature Christians during this advance.
Please pray that the Holy Spirit would convict those he wants in our small groups to join whole-heartedly.
Please pray for my meeting tomorrow with a student leader who wants to reconnect after his encounter with God over the Christmas Break.
Please pray... that God would call out those ready to be challenged, shaped, and leaders. We are resuming our regular campus meetings this Tuesday at 8p.m. ...for good health and enough rest for Dawn and I during the semester. Tuesday, January 13th, 2009 Please pray... for divine encounters with students who God is preparing to be harvested. ...that students would desire God to transform their hearts. ... for the Holy Spirit's guidance as we plan out missions trips, outreaches, campus meetings, and other events for 2009. Sunday, December 7th, 2008 Please pray… for a hunger in students as they approach Christmas break.
… for a desire to grow in their faith and in serving others.
… for the Christmas party we are hosting this Thursday for students to bring their friends, believing that the love of God will be revealed to them through interacting with believers, in a life changing way.
… for a strategic planning in the next semester during our staff meetings. Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008 Please pray for Austin as he is meeting with two students who were referred to him by their family members. We believe God will connect them to the local body and equip them to be ministers of the Gospel. Please pray for our campus meeting next Wednesday night. We believe God to deposit something that will spark into revival next semester. Please pray for our international student bible study this Friday night. We are trusting God to bring some of those 250+ students who came to the International Thanksgiving Dinner to our bible study to begin their relationship with Jesus. Monday November 24th, 2008 Please pray for tonight's 13th annual International Thanksgiving Dinner. We are expecting around 300 international students. We believe for transformation in the lives of these students through believing the message of Jesus Christ. Please pray for us on Thanksgiving Day. We are taking five international students with us to Austin's Moms. We are trusting God to use this win their hearts over. Please keep praying for these students who are facing difficultly over the break: Cole, Fred, Oilton, and Emily. Thursday November 20th, 2008 - Those young men who gave their lives to Christ this week during the Night of Heroes outreach. These men have a great call on their lives as foot soldiers for Christ. Please pray for their growth in their relationship with God. - Please pray for Fred and Cole, two students who received the Holy Spirit last night at our campus meeting. They need lots of encouragement, to be surrounded by a family of believers, and to completely sell out to Jesus. -Please be praying for a great harvest on Tuesday, which is when we have our 13th annual International Student Thanksgiving Dinner. Please pray for the planning, rehearsals, and gospel presentation. |
