I grew up in Belleville, a small town in north central Kansas. I moved to Pratt, Kansas my sophomore year of high school. I graduated from Pratt High School in 2005 and graduated from Pratt Community College in 2006.  I moved to Hays that summer to further my education.

    I have many close friends, but four best friends that have been there through everything. First is my boyfriend, Travis, who is amazing and is able to put up with my mood swings and stressful semesters.  Second is my childhood friend, Lonisa, whom I have been friends with since the age of 1. I can't even begin to tell you the crazy things we've done and been through. Third is my brother, Jake, whom I have stayed close with even through tough times. And finally, my most important, is my mother, Vicki. She has been through a lot and has stayed strong through it all. She's amazing and I only hope I'm half the woman she is when I'm older.

My main thing in life is to have faith. Have faith that whatever comes your way, good or bad, you will get through it! 

I am student teaching in the fall in a kindergarten classroom at Roosevelt Elementary. I am very excited! I love the lower level grades because those students WANT to be there and are excited to learn.
