Next Event

Next event is 1st March at West Lancs YC, Southport. This is a superb water with an excelent club house within easy reach of Southport shopping centre.

For those northern sailors who feel they cant make the TT event at West Lancs the Lancaster group are looking at Killington lake that day, see their website for details (in the RCLaser Clubs section)

News

Provisional plans have been made for a Summer version of the Northern District Winter TT. This includes a Northern District Championship on Saturday October 3rd at Fleetwood.

Bury Metro Model Marine Society are the latest Northern club to adopt the RCLaser with 3 current members. See www.bmmms.com is their developing website. Please contact Al Wisher via this site and you will be made most welcome. The site is a purpose built model boat lake maintained by Bury council with club house and facilities.

Fleetwood Club has now officially adopted the Laser and has developed a full summer club programme. See Fleetwoods website, link is in the RCLaser clubs section

Southport SC 18th Jan.
Wind was very heavy this day - sailing was enjoyed by all even though there was an early finish due to the strength of the wind.
13 skippers were made very welcome by the club.
