Why the new approach to the immured class rosters?
Spreadsheets will allow us to automate calculations and will reduce much of the repetitive work that has been associated with weekly sheets and paper rosters.
Of course, the data entered into the spreadsheets must be very accurate. You will need to spend some of the time you will save by no longer having to total hours for each student and use it to proof the data you have entered.
This will not eliminate the need for the gradebook, attendance sheet, or whatever method best works for you to record student attendance and status. This is especially true because you do not have access to a computer at your work site and you must transfer your paper record to the electronic spreadsheet wherever you have Internet access.
This semester, all basic rosters have been prepared for you. Student names and id numbers have been entered. We will add more information in our training session. |
