^ Check out this awesome warm up video! | The Richmond-Burton Jazz Band is made up of select members of the Richmond-Burton Music Program. The RB Jazz Band meets throughout the entire year as an extra-curricular band, and performs at select concerts with the RB Concert Bands. In addition to these performances, the Jazz Band also performs at several exclusive events, including the Fall Collage Concert and our hugely popular Jazz Coffee Houses.
The group is devoted to performing a variety of 'big band' style music at the highest level, and will also develop the skills necessary to comfortably play improvised solos during performances. The RB Jazz Band peforms a variety of styles, ranging from jazz standards to rock, latin, funk, swing, and more. Catch us at one of our upcoming gigs next year!
