 My name is Kenneth Bogart.
The Native American Flute found me one Autumn day as I was traveling to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon in 2004. I then began my enthusiastic search for knowing about this instrument. Along the way I have met many good people and friends. John Vame’s inspired me with his pure playing and love of teaching. So I began learning about the flute and music from John and his books. Soon I started my private lessons with John every week until he told me I had the knowledge I needed to continue on my way. I considered this receiving the Gift. Upon completing his intermediate course at the Scottsdale Community college a group of his students founded “Tuesday’s Group” which still meet most every Tuesday since 2006. We play and support each other and always welcome all enthusiasts that join with us. I am rewarded watching people improve their playing skills and this is why I have decided to continue sharing the Gift. When I pick up the NAF and play John’s teachings run through me.
