A Wisdom Society is one where all the individuals are working towards the same real objective of reaching a state of absolute contentment and real happiness, by achieving a form of Purified Human, who is free from bondages of the worldly joys and sorrows, felt by the senses of body and the mind. To achieve this real objective, all the members of the society are performing every routine activity of life, which are necessary to survive, without any attachment for any object or entity of the world.
In the Wisdom Society, the individuals really understand the true Moral of creation of this Universe and follow certain principles of conduct and behaviour. The fundamental of the Wisdom Society is based on the philosophy of what is right and what is wrong, what action leads to true happiness and what leads to pain and grief. Thus every individual in the Society, always take actions on the basis of the judgment that it will give real happiness on its completion. They never take any action, which may lead to a state of agony, grief or pain.
In a common society, the human mind, which is very sharp, always wants to control the actions of the body to attain some pleasure. It narrates some story in such a way that any action taken by the body as per its desire, gives some pleasure. The pleasure so obtained is short lived and cease to exist after some time. Thereafter, some another similar action is proposed by the mind to the body, which again gives it some short-lived pleasure. When the body is stopped from taking any action, desired by the mind, it starts feeling uncomfortable and reduces the energy level of the body for any routine activity. When one continues to miss such pleasure due to hindrance of this kind he starts feeling the pain and agony. The net result of this process is that, in spite of growth of numerous developed societies in this world, most of the people living therein are under the pain and agony of some kind, because they are not able to fulfill the desires of the mind. So what is the real pleasure? And how, one can get that?
To get answer to such questions one has to develop the latent spiritual faculties and derive true Wisdom. The Wisdom Society believes that besides the five senses, man is endowed with higher hidden senses. It is also believed that if one’s heart is cleaned of impurities he will surely be blessed with higher experiences. It is not enough to rely on the five senses because they have certain limitations. Hence one should try to develop his hidden senses. The faculties of spirit are developed by learning the techniques of opening the inner eye. The one who is successful in developing the latent spiritual powers in the slightest degrees becomes a changed man. He offers his all in sacrifice – his property, his body and his mind. These later begin to appear to him trivial and insipid in the same way that the knowledge acquired through the senses appears to him pale and insignificant as compared with that which he acquires when the inner eye is opened. With the attainment of the higher consciousness, he gains a real experience of this universe and it’s Creator.
Thus, Wisdom lies in making an effort to get release from the body and the mind through development of the spiritual faculties, to control their actions. This wisdom was derived by the Rishis when They found hidden or latent senses inside their body as the five knowledge senses did not gave the complete and true knowledge. They discovered that the physical senses give only the partial knowledge about the objects of the world depending upon their range to observe vibrations or signals. For example, our eyes can not see the infra – red or ultra – violet waves. Or the ears can listen to voice coming from a certain distance only. This is because our intelligence acts on the impressions that reach the brain through the senses, sorts them out and works them up by permutations and combinations into our normal human knowledge. They were, therefore, driven to the search of the higher senses, which They found inside their own head. They discovered the spiritual essence there. And just as through the physical eyes we can see the sun, which is millions of miles away, so also by developing the inner eye in which is located the spiritual essence we can obtain direct communion with the Supreme Creator of the Universe. When the Rishis and Seers taught the higher esoteric wisdom, people felt dazzled; and it became the wide-spread conviction of the people then that man is born not merely to procreate and lead a vegetative existence, but has got a higher destiny to fulfill – that of gaining higher knowledge and cosmic consciousness. It is believed that this complete Wisdom brings the human near to the All Mighty. One who has the Complete Wisdom has the ability for direct communication with the All Mighty. Thus, the true Wisdom lies in collecting and coordinating the experiences and drawing useful lessons, which tend to increase comfort and lessen miseries for the entire community. Therefore, in the Wisdom Society, the Real Objective of Life of people is to reach a permanent state of utmost happiness and freedom from the difficulties, troubles and sorrows of this world by attaining true and complete wisdom through the direct communion with the Supreme Creator of the Universe.
For attainment of true and complete wisdom the people in the Wisdom Society follow the path of Bhakti or Devotion, which is an expression of one’s love and faith. In the path of Devotion the chief means employed for achieving the object are Love, Faith, Worship and Service towards the Teacher or the Guru, who have direct communion with the True Supreme Being. Thus, the path of devotion through a systematic approach of development of all individuals in the society by enrichment of knowledge, adherence to cohesive social goals, complete truthfulness leading to development of the social ethics, moral values to attain the objective a state of true Wisdom forms the basis of day to day activities. For instance, the basic concepts of living, working and social and individual development is to transform to a state of highest level where every member of the society respects each other and has perfect coordination in thought and action. This process of transformation is such that there is total active support of all individuals in the activities and there is no resistance from any individual or group in the society. To achieve the status of a Wisdom Society, the members of the society adopt the new concepts and readily accept any change in their present philosophy, about the activities of life.
The Wisdom Society formulates a set of recommended actions including the methods and procedures to reach the state where every member of the society is satisfied with his daily routine as well as progressing internally as an individual towards the Real Objective of his life.
Thus, members of the Wisdom Society follow the Path of Devotion while happily following the orders and getting the complete advice on all worldly and spiritual matters from the Teacher, to finally achieve the Object of Life.
