Dec 2, 2023 - Rockwall Christmas Parade - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We'll meet at 6:30am at Utley Middle School, by the football stadium, near intersection of Yellowjacket and Townsend.
Participants begin arriving about 7am, the parade starts at 9am, so most of us should finish about 9:30, a few maybe 10-10:30. It's a very busy few of hours.
The Kiwanis will provide us participant lists and maps.
Bring:
- your handheld and spare battery
- speaker / mics and earpieces are suggested
- pencil, you will need to take a few notes
- will be using the 441.525 repeater, PL-141.3
- back-up will be the 442.8375 repeater, PL-162.2, narrow FM mode
Please have both repeaters programmed and tested into your HT before parade day.
We will be on foot and the weather may be cold and / or rainy -- Dress accordingly !!!

Tuesday Nights with RARC
Tuesday night is meeting night for RARC. Join us each Tuesday night for our on air informational net. We meet on the KK5PP repeater 441.525 MHz PL 141.3 at 7:00pm. The only time we do not have this is on the 3rd Tuesday of the month when we have our club meeting. Click Here for Meeting Details.
(Please note in the rare event that if the above repeater is not operational on net night, a backup repeater is available at 441.375 MHz with a PL tone of 141.3.)
