- Do I need a RapidShare Premium Account ?
Yes. RapidWareX can only be used to download files as a Premium User, not as a Free User.
- Why doesn't this work for Free Users ?
Because Free Users can not take full advantage of the RapidShare service :
- they have to first pass a captcha test.
- they have to wait a certain amount of time (depending on the filesize) between each download.
- they never reach full download speed, since RapidShare limits it for Free Users.
This makes the download process slow and very hard to automate.
Also Free Users can not use the audio and video streaming function because of these reasons.
- Wait... I have to enter my login details?
Yes, we know. You have trust issues. We totally respect that.
The only thing we can do is promise that your details are not transmitted to our servers.
They are only used to authenticate with RapidShare over a secure connection.
If you don't believe us, you can use software like a firewall or network sniffer to find out exactly what we are sending to the interwebs and see for yourself.

- Why are the files I download only 12 kB large ?
This can have a couple of reasons : - make sure you have Direct Downloads enabled.
- make sure the file has not been deleted from the servers (use the 'Check Links' function).
- make sure you have traffic left on your account.
- Why does RapidWareX crash when I try to start it ?
This can have a couple of reasons : - make sure you have the latest .Net Framework installed (installer included in download).
- maybe you have found a bug in the program. Be sure to report it.
- You are illegally distributing my property!
No, we are not! This site does not host files. RapidWareX is just a download manager.
It provides access to RapidShare files, but does not have its own file storage.
if you want your files deleted, please tell RapidShare. They will delete your property from their servers.
