I obtained my PhD in mechanical engineering, conducted under the supervision of Prof. Martin Ostoja-Starzewski at the University of Ilinois at Urbana-Champaign. The topic of my dissretation was "Scale-Dependent Homogenization and Scaling Laws in Random Polycrystals".

My current research interests are broadly in the areas of multi-scale stochastic mechanics, biomaterials, biomechanics, material/geometrical  anisotropy, anisotropic heat conduction and rod mechanics
