RandomBots is a group of BITS pilani students who share a common interest towards Computer Gaming. This group has a moderated forum at google groups where the members discuss on a plethora of ideas and share their views. The group has a very high activity which can be reflected from the fact that there are more than 1000 different threads of discussions every month with the active participation from almost all of the members.

Gaming has been primarily focus area for Randombots!!! They have tried their hands on varios games ranging from Dynomite, IcyTower to full 3D first person shooter games like Quake3, CS. Still if analyzed AOE, Quake3 and CS has mainly dominated the gaming world of Randombots. AOE - 2 was the first game they tried to expert. An early era included some of the great players like Phoenix, pHantom. Randombots'(Before formation of Randombots) TMC(Phonenix, Rise@Dawn, Caesar and Ricky) was runners up at Apocalypse - I. As time progressed new players emerged stronger, like Trinity(Achellis), Spidy (he was thr since beginning), pHantom being all time great!!
    Parallely Quake3 was also getting on nerves. Caesar, Trinity,
pHantom,Rise @ Dawn being first to start playing it. After Caesar lost
all his (whatever little) glory after losing famous 30 -1 battle with
one of the players from Hall of The Fame Rival1ty on q3tourney4,
Trinity, pHantom and spidy took the game to a totally different
level!!! They were the part of team winning q3 tournament at APOGEE 2k5. In between that time Caesar and pHantom (not to forget spidy) were trying their hands on CS under guidance of r#... But they could not make it famous before randombots split into two parts due to practice school. Later on randombots (2nd sem ON) tried thier best at CS, but could not dominate the game as they did in Q3, facing strong competition from dualites. Still pHantom was ruling as usual.
    Considering all players profile, like Gaws being stronger at small
games (again pHantom was thr), Caesar claiming to be good at all games (including hitman, igi, payne ..though nobody ever accepted it!), Thool trying massive cheatcodes at AOE!!, spidy, trinity being
stronger in all q3, aoe and cs.. All of these could never ever reached
pHantom's skill level.
    He is the leader for randombots gaming, being the best gamer in
Randombots!!!
