Assalammualaikum & Greetings! My name is Mas Atika, happily married and I am a mother of three great kids - Aiman, Ameer & Aisyah. I love drawing, creating and making any creative works using my hands. I enjoy seeing a raw material turned into some nice product. Thus, the art of cooking and baking have always been a passion for me. It's all started at home, thanks for my beloved late mother for giving me an early introduction to the kitchen works. My only formal learning in this culinary arts was in Sekolah Tun Fatimah, where I had my Home Science class from Form 1 to Form 3. And I am proud to tell that I scored A1 for that subject in SRP! :-) I did my BSBA in Management and Marketing in University of Missouri - St. Louis. While at the States, I learned some Western dish from fellow friends, and showed off my cooking talent during festive occasions ;-). I even made some pocket monies during the fasting month by selling packed food such as fried rice and 'mee bandung'!
In the beginning, my maid help me with the baking whenever I breastfeed the baby. As more orders came in, especially to cater the Hari Raya orders, I had to hire people to help and my supportive hubby, Munir bought me a bigger mixer and freezer. It was a home-based business and we had to courier the cakes to West Malaysia.
