Make sure to check out the aerial photo of the the camp
that was created with Microsoft Virtual Earth. Once your computer has downloaded the map website, look in the top left margin of the picture and check to make sure "3D" and "Aerial" are selected. You will see actual photos of the grounds and buildings. Here is where the fun begins. On the left side margin of the map photo you will see several icons. Clicking on these icons will enable you to zoom in or out and pivot the map. There is one icon that looks like the letter "L" leaning to the right . . . it also has an arrow pointing to the right.
Click on that icon and you will be able to see an
aerial view of the map from the side rather than from the top. This vantage point will enable you to see the camp's topography in three-dimensions.It is very,very cool. Have fun playing with the map's controls
and seeing the camp from a multitude of angles. |
