The majority of the club is involved in cycling at a recreational level. Rides will be added to the ride calendar by ride leaders for you to take part in. Rides tend to be more random in date and location as they hit the calendar. We like to focus on favorite routes and then throw in a unique ride here and there for fun.

Indoor Rides - Led by Tanya Rice
Zimmerman Coffee Rides - Led by Mark DeBoer
Rides start in Elk River, ride to Zimmerman for coffee, and back. Ride is about 18-20miles in duration. Rated as a B-C level ride.
WOW! - Women on Wheels rides Led by Holly Solberg
This is a women's group riding experience. Rides vary in start location, distance and goal so keep a close eye on the ride calendar for WOW dates. Rides start in Andover. Ride on one side of the Mississippi river to downtown, then to the Historic Mill Ruins area, cross the Stone Arch Bridge, and return on the other side of the river. Ride is about 40-42 miles in duration. Rated as a B level ride due to the 40 mile length. White Bear Rides - Led by Dave and Sue Lunde
Rides start in Andover. Ride to White Bear Lake and have lunch at an outdoor cafe, and back. Ride is about 52-56 miles in duration. Rated as a B level ride due to length.
Nitelite Nitelife! Rides - Led by Dave Lunde
It's all about riding in the dark, but not like the blind leading the blind. Bring your lights and be creative! Ride lengths vary based on weather and time of year. If you know how to take a good picture in the dark, you are welcome to join us too! Downtown Greenway Rides - Led by Dave Lunde
Rides start in Andover. Ride on one side of the Mississippi river to downtown, then continue to the popular Greenway trail between Minneapolis and Hopkins, then around the Cedar Lake trail to the new Twins stadium and return on the other side of the river. Ride is about 65 miles in duration. Rated as an A fast B level ride due to the 65 mile length. We hope you like coffee, there will be a stop in downtown. Ride to the Elm Creek trail system and see all the beautiful areas of the park. |
