I have completed my PhD. from the Network Research Lab (NRL) , UNSW, under the expert supervision of Prof. Chun Tung Chou. After completion I joined UQ as a Post-Doc researcher, where I worked with Prof. Neil Bergmann at the school of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering. I also worked as a Post-Doc researcher at the The Speech, Audio, Image and Video Technologies (SAIVT) lab at QUT with Prof. Sridha Sridharan. Currently, I have jointed the Pervasive Computing group at CSIRO ICT Centre, QCAT, where I am working in collaboration with the E-Health Research Center (AEHRC) and the Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR). Briefly, I am holding the following research positions at this moment:

My current research interest includes the investigating the feasibility of compressive sensing, sparse coding and other machine learning techniques in the following research fields:

- Energy conversations (residential and commercial buildings)

- Abnormal event detection
- Cyber Physical Systems
