We offer a variety of enrichment programs to the tradition preschool program, 

• “Kindergarten Adventures”

  RCNS offers an enrichment program for children who attend Kindergarten for a half-day session. 

  This program is designed to support the Kindergarten curriculum. It is not remedial in nature but a supplement…an enrichment…of the skills, goals and objectives of a Kindergarten curriculum. Literacy and Math skills are presented in creative ways. Children create their own cookbooks, journals and dictionaries just to name a few. Science concepts are explored through cooking or baking the recipes they then include in their cookbook.

  According to NAEYC standards, it is built upon developmentally appropriate practice. This approach insures that your child will enjoy learning. It is very effective for helping 5 -6 year old children develop the Kindergarten concepts and skills they need to progress to the next level.

  
  

• Lunch and Play- this program that extends the traditional school day from 11:30am-2:00 pm
• Creative Capers- a creative discovery program for our 3 year olds
• Pre-K Enrichment- enrichment program for 4 year olds that adds a 5th day to the traditional 4yr. old week.  
• The program meets from 12:30 - 3:00pm with an additional option of coming for lunch from 11:30-12:30pm.
