- Founded in 1963, Rainbow Corners Nursery School is a cooperative, non-profit, non-sectarian nursery school.
- A cooperative school is one that allows parents the opportunity participate in their child's first school experience.
- RCNS co-op parents regularly serve as helpers in their children's classes once or twice a month.
- RCNS is New Jersey licensed and NAEYC-accredited (National Association for the Education of Young Children).
- NAEYC accreditation certifies that RCNS is one of the finest pre-schools in the nation and is recognized for its age-appropriate program, excellent trained staff, sensitivity to families and parent involvement.
- We offer a variety of programs in addition to the traditional preschool program.
- Creative Capers and Pre-K Enrichment are enrichment programs that are offered to extend the school day. Each enrichment class is geared to students in a fun and age appropriate manner. Children can enjoy lunch at school and stay for an afternoon of science, math, and language enrichment.
- Lunch and Play is an extended day program for children 3 and up who are potty trained.
- Kindergarten Adventures program is open to all Kindergarten students and is held two days a week in the afternoon. It is a WONDERFUL way to extend and enrich the half day program that your Kindergarten child is currently attending. Please contact Lucille for more information.
