Speeder shed interior photo
I had taken interior shots of this Durango Press HO scale speeder shed in the past with my film cameras and pinhole aperture equipped lens, and wanted to see what I could do with my digital camera.
This is the setup. The 2-1/2" wide shed is in front of the camera, the photo light is on the upper right, and I'm holding a piece of cardboard to shield the front of the shed's exterior from the bright light. The inside of the shed has light coming in the skylights, and the difference in lighting between the interior and the outside was too much for the camera to handle, so I used the cardboard to cut down on the light in front of the shed.
This is what the camera saw, including my hand holding the cardboard. The camera needed to be back this far because the Tamron 11-18mm lens does not focus close enough.
This is the final image, after I cropped out everything except the interior of the teeny building. Even with the lens set at f/22, the immediate foreground isn't in perfect focus but it works OK. The interior was lightened with my digital imaging program in my computer.
