3 FUNCTIONS

4 AVERAGE, RATIO & PROPORTION
Average, Mean, Weighted average, Ratios, Distribution, Division, Mixtures and Alligations, Partnership.
5 ALGEBRA
Quadratic Equations (Real and Non-real roots), Algebraic expressions, Logarithms, A.P., G.P., H.P., Inequalities, Series – summation, Fibonacci series.
6 PERCENTAGE
Percentage, Profit and Loss, Simple and Compound interest, Percentage – increase and decrease in growth.
7 GEOMETRY
Lines, Parallel Lines, Triangles, Right angled triangle, Similarity of Triangles, Angles and sides of a Triangle, Area of a Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Square, Rectangle, Rhombus, Trapezium, Diagonals, Perimeter, Circles, Circumscribing and Inscribing of Circles, Triangles and Quadrilaterals in each other, Tangents, Chords, Perpendicular bisectors. Rules of Geometry to find the measures of angles and length of sides.
8 MENSURATION
Area, Volume, Surface area of various 2D and 3D geometric figures like Triangle, Circles, Quadrilaterals, Cones, Cylinders, Frustums, Cubes,Cuboids. Conversion of paper into various forms and one shape into another. 9 TIME, DISTANCE & WORK
Time, Distance, Speed, Times and Work, Pipes and Cisterns, Problems on trains, boats and steams, Races and games of skill, Calendar, Clocks.
10 PERMUTATION, COMBINATION & PROBABILITY
Number of ways to find out favourable events – permutations and combinations, Probability.
