Welcome to Raices de Arte Espanol

The Goal of Raices de Arte Espanol is to plant the seed of Spanish art and culture in your heart.  Through flamenco you will live and feel all of the emotions that your soul holds: from joy and sadness to angst and passion.  Flamenco is a way of life that -- by way of your body, feet, and arms -- expresses all of your sentiments.

Here in San Antonio, Texas, we offer classes in the four schools of Spanish dance: bailes espanoles (Spanish classical), escuela bolera, bailes regionales (folklore), and of course flamenco.  We also provide instruction in flamenco guitar, cajon, and cante.

During the year, there is a recital and additional presentations so that our students may showcase what they have learned and achieved.
