For SCJP Examination one should not only concentrate more on the objectives of the examination by SUN.For scoring high you not only need sound understanding of java but also a through understanding of the SUN's objectives.

 

One should prepare the theory well as well as you can expect some questions from hard core java theory (no code).Do not always expect the questions which would ask you for output of a code. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Concentrate on deployment descriptor , web.xml and all its tags and meaning of those tags.Good amount of memorizing would be involved for this examination.Make note of things from the deployment section.
