I want
to thank the Radnor/Fort Myer Heights Civic Association for
their hard work and generosity in making this year's
community holiday party for the low income residents a huge
success. The Civic Association came though and refused to
let barriers stop or dampen the celebration this year. They picked
up the cost of food and drinks when grant funds dried up,
they worked directly with the Marines to obtain the Toys for Tots,
they walked the community to do all the marketing and then many
members worked at the event. The Police Team and Recreation
Staff that also worked the event are very grateful for our strong partnership
and teamwork. The Radnor/Fort Myer Heights Civic Association members
demonstrated what a true caring community looks like in
which neighbors treat each other with kindness and respect and every
person is important. Great job.
