Mission Statement
The mission of Radford University Emergency Medical Services is to protect and improve the quality of life for the students, faculty, staff, and visitors of Radford University, as well as members of the surrounding community. In order to accomplish this, Radford Univeristy Emergency Medical Services provides full-time scene emergency response, offers standby services to the University and surrounding areas, and plays an integral role in large scale operations in the New River Valley.
In addition to Operationl Services, Radford University Emergency Medical Services also strives to provide effective forms of public health and safety education by hosting classes, facilitating awareness events, and providing access to training for the public. Lastly, Radford University Emergency Medical Services strives to maintain an active presence in University policy decisions that affect the quality of life or safety of Radford University's students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
