'CONTEMPORARY SCOTLAND'

Renowned for its large-scale paintings, Flaubert’s gallery at 74 St Stephen Street, is already established as a well-loved and relaxed venue for the arts in Stockbridge and a beautiful space to discover new paintings and etchings or just to have an espresso!

From the end of January, through to the end of February, the gallery will be alight with colour as it is showing an ever-changing mixed exhibition including landscapes, still life and large abstracts, showcasing work by Flaubert’s established portfolio of artists, including: Amy Marshall, Andrew Walker, Bernie O’Donnell, Camilla Watson, Claudia Massie, Colin Homes, Glen Moore, Henry Kondracki, Jane Lannagan, John Dolan, John Heywood, Kathleen Conboy, Mairi Stewart, Michael Kinane, Paul Donaldson, Peter Standen, Rosanne Barr, Sheila MacLean and gallery favourites, Tommy Fitchet and Jen Collee.

Included are: atmospheric landscapes, Edinburgh cityscapes, wild abstracts, vibrant paintings on glass and fine large-scale animal oils on canvas - full of expression and movement.

This winter also sees further exciting additions to the gallery Portfolio and the show also includes paintings by five artists new to Flaubert Gallery; Charles Monteith Walker, Pam McBride, Lesley Whelan, Tracy Levine and Georgina Parkins. Further details on each artist can be found on the gallery Web Site.

Whether you are looking for a special artwork or are interested in registering a wedding, retirement or birthday gift list, the gallery team is on hand to give friendly advice.
